The three main reasons I’ve found that have been making clients’ hair not last at home are:

✮ Not letting the hair completely dry

While I know it’s tiring and quite repetitive, ensuring that your hair is completely dry will help it last much longer.

Even a little bit of dampness can cause frizz and make the style fall flat quickly.

✮ ✮ Not having super squeaky clean hair

Now this sounds crazy, but sometimes one shampoo isn’t enough to fully clean your hair.

Double shampooing or using a clarifying shampoo will give you a much better foundation for a beautiful blowout.

✮ ✮ ✮ Product

You don’t have to buy every product known to man for a blowout—but it’s not one-size-fits-all either.

Certain products work better depending on your hair type and the look you’re going for.
If you have no clue where to start, test it out.

Book a blowout and see how it lasts. If you like the result, check in with your stylist and ask what they used.

I always recommend a heat protectant and a leave-in conditioner. When using heat tool and working with wet hair!!
